A clearer version of the above photo can be found on the RTE Archives. It is a still from the group's performance in the 1981 Eurovision Song Contest which took place in Dublin. The song was performed twice in the show. Once during the rounds and again as an encore at the end of the show after winning. It seems slightly more likely that the photo comes from the encore since there would have been more of a news reason to document that. This front facing shot (also from the RTE Archives) shows that she was in fact wearing something thong-like. In the broadcast contest (available in full on YouTube) the camera staging did not capture the revealing moment in either performance. 1981 Eurovision Song Contest
